SWIM TEAM

We are looking forward to another exciting and fun-filled season for all of our swimmers and divers! Our swim team is currently in the highly competitive B division for Tri-County Swim. However, our team welcomes both returning swimmers and new swimmers of all ability levels! If your child isn’t quite ready for the competition of our A meets on Saturday mornings, we have B meets on Wednesday evenings, which allow for our swimmers to compete in a more relaxed, less competitive atmosphere.

SWIM TEAM PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Afterschool Practices - Tuesday, May 27th thru Friday, June 20th:
13-18 year olds, 3:30-5:00pm
* Middle school students should arrive to practice as soon as possible.
8 and Unders, 5:00-5:45pm
9-10 year olds, 5:45-6:30pm
11-12 year olds, 6:30-7:15pm
Morning Practices - Starting Monday, June 23rd:
9-10 year olds, 7:45-8:45am
11-12 year olds, 8:45-9:45am
13-18 year olds, 9:45-11:00am
8 and Unders, 11:00-12:00pm
All swimmers should arrive 10 minutes BEFORE their scheduled practice time in order to be prepared to be in the water at their designated time.

July 2 - vs. Wedgewood (away) *NOTE: This has been moved to a Wednesday evening!

Swimming Time Trials @CBSC - Saturday, June 14th
Cherry Bowl will be held Saturday, July 26th for selected swimmers. Tri-County will be on Saturday, August 2nd and Sunday, August 3rd or swimmers who qualify.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: All registered swimmers (with the exception of Pre-Team) MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM AN ENTIRE LAP OF THE POOL COMPLETELY UNASSISTED.

PRE-TEAM

If your child is not yet able to swim a lap of the pool unassisted, but they are at least 4 years old and interested in being part of the swim team, you may want to consider registering them for our pre-team program. Pre-team small groups are held in our 3-foot section in the mornings between 8:00-11:00am. All pre-team swimmers will receive a designated time slot. Pre-team swimmers are able to transition to the regular 8 & under practice when the coaches determine they are ready.
Pre-team swimmers are considered part of the CBSC swim and dive team, get a team shirt, and are included in all team social activities, pep rallies, etc. but are taught in small groups with hands-on instruction similar to swim lessons. |

Pre-team will run Monday through Fridays starting Monday, June 23rd. All pre-team swimmers will receive a designated time slot between 8:00-11:00am.
All pre-team swimmers will be evaluated prior to their starting date. This will allow for proper placement into a leveled group. Please keep a close eye on your inbox for a Team Unify email with evaluation dates and times.

DIVE TEAM

Our dive team competes in the Central Division of the South Jersey Dive Association. Like our swim team, our dive team practices daily Monday through Friday with after school practices beginning the day after Memorial Day and morning practices beginning once school lets out. Our dive team also welcomes divers of all ability levels with no previous dive experience needed.
If your child is on the swim team and would also like to dive, we offer a 50% discount on the dive registration fee! |

In addition to practices and competition, we offer many other fun activities for our swimmers and divers, like a pancake breakfast, a pasta dinner, Friday night pep rallies, and age group outings. In order to offer these experiences, we will be looking for families to get involved and help out. We are always open to new suggestions and ideas, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have an idea for a team event or fundraiser!
Swim and Dive Team is an experience unlike any other sport. It is a chance for children of all ages to come together to support one another, build friendships, and work together as a team. We look forward to welcoming back all of our Croc swimmers and divers, and we hope to see many new faces this year as well!
