Frequently asked questions
I would love to help out! How can I volunteer?
There are many ways to help out at CBSC! On specified weekends in April and May, we have Proud Owner Days. Members are invited to come work on projects all around the pool grounds to help get the club ready for summer. See our "Volunteer" section for more info! There are also opportunities to help with socials activities, special events, and our swim/dive teams. Contact our board members at anytime to get involved!
Can I host a party at the pool?
Yes! We'd love to have you celebrate here! We rent our lower, covered pavilion area out for minimal cost with all amenities included. Please see our "Pavilion Rentals" section for more information and to request to book.
My child wears a diaper. Where can they swim?
There are no diapers of any kind allowed in our main pool. Children must be fully potty trained to swim there. We have an awesome baby and toddler pool with beach entry and splash features! This area is gated and also includes infant/toddler swings and a picnic area.
What types of social activities are offered?
We specialize in FUN! Throughout the summer, CBSC hosts an ice cream social, kids triathlon, food truck nights, pep rallies for our swim/dive teams, tween night, "dive-in" movie, adult social, and raft nights. We also offer intramural sport opportunities for adults. There are usually new events every summer and some off-season fun to enjoy as well!
Are there specialty events for holidays?
Yes! Summer holidays are HUGE at "the Bridge"! Memorial Day/Opening Weekend we have s'more fire pits and our Croc Plunge in the 12-foot section. Labor Day offers the same with an end-of-season BBQ in the lower pavilion. Our July 4th Celebration is one of the most anticipated days of the season! It is family fun all day long complete with our Cardboard Boat Regatta, water balloon toss, adult swims and relays, kids bike parade, splash contest, music, cookouts, and more!
Do you allow rafts and floats in the pool?
Rafts and floats are not allowed in our pools for daily use. However, they are allowed during our designated Sunday Raft Nights! Beginning swimmers can wear a flotation device (ex. Puddle Jumper or life jacket) if necessary in the 3-foot & 5-foot sections at any time when accompanied by an adult.
Do you offer swim lessons?
Our Pre-team program is a great place for our youngest crocs (starting at age 4) to work on their swimming skills! Read more about this small group swim instruction under our "Swim & Dive" tab. A few of our lifeguards and swim coaches also offer individual private lessons throughout the summer.
What types of containers for food/drink are permitted?
No glass of ANY kind is permitted on pool grounds. This is to ensure member safety and includes swimming masks, cups, etc. You are welcome to bring coolers with food and drink. We also offer a full service snack bar!
We love to BBQ! Do you have a grilling area?
Yes! We have many grills within our two separate pavilion areas. There are also plenty of picnic tables to eat a fresh, cooked meal with your family and friends.
What other areas of play does the club offer?
Besides our main and baby pools, we have two full tennis courts, a full basketball court with adjustable hoops, a sand court for volleyball or soccer, two shuffleboard courts, tether ball, horseshoe pits, and Cornhole! Our modern playground has the softest safety surface available on the market. There are also two infant/toddler swings in the baby pool area. In addition, the lower pavilion has a large double-sided fireplace area perfect for s'mores!
Can we bring non-member guests to enjoy the pool?
Yes! All guests must check-in at the front desk and be accompanied by a member during their stay. You may use electronic guest passes linked to your membership account or pay the front desk at the time of the visit (this is cash only). Please see our "Membership Information" section for more details about our guest fees.
